Lois Cruitt has granted permission to post the excellent Centennial History published by her and Betty Coventry. Their book is perhaps the best source on Findlay history as they were not content to simply accept the stories that had been told and re-told, but went to the contemporary sources such as Village Board meeting minutes, ordinances, etc. I believe this is still for sale by the Shelby County Historical and Genealogical Society. The scans here are a bit hard to read but you will get a sense of what is in the book. I am posting only part of the pages at a time to save space and to encourage everyone to get a nice old fashioned printed copy.
